Anyone searching for an electrician has a problem right now and wants two things: what it costs and when you can come. So the price list comes before the services, the button is the phone number itself, and on a phone it follows you down the whole page.
The consultant needs to be believed
That page has no image at all. It is set like a document instead, in a serif, with three numbered assignments, prices in plain sight and a list of when not to get in touch. The last one is what convinces people.
The cleaning firm needs a booking
Home cleaning is bought on practical terms. The price follows the size of the home, the checklist shows exactly what gets done every time, and beside it sits an equally plain list of what does not.
The boat company needs you to feel it
Nobody reads their way into a sailing boat, they look. The impression of a page is formed in about fifty milliseconds, so that page is a sunrise over a horizon, a name and three numbers. No price list: the price of a boat is settled on board.
What the examples show
All four are built with the same base package: one page, up to 5 sections, mobile friendly, a contact function. The difference is the order the content comes in, how much text is allowed on the page and what the visitor is meant to do. One of them has no image at all, another has almost no words.
